Prime location just off the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city without much hassle. Large spacious room with fantastic light from big windows, perfect for recharging after a day of adventures.
Elevator access can get confusing—sometimes it’s a bit of a trek just to reach your room if you’ve got heavy luggage. Noise from the lively street can disrupt your peace at night, especially if you’re not used to a bustling atmosphere. the breakfast, while functional, lacks variety, which might leave some guests wanting more options in the morning.

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh
I loved the central location, just a short stroll to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The room was comfortable and spacious, and I appreciated the helpful staff who provided great local dining recommendations. the noise from the street at night was a bit disruptive.

Checked in and found myself in a tiny, hot room without windows. My dad discovered a baby leech on his towel, which was pretty wild. Staff seemed a bit clueless, and we got no proper apology. At least the bar area had a nice vibe, but overall it was a pretty sketchy stay.

The Inn Place is a foodie’s paradise! Loved chowing down on homemade pasta at nearby Angels with Bagpipes and sipped a nightcap in the cozy hotel bar. the Edinburgh Press Club is just a stone's throw away for more fun vibes!
Now, the check-in was a bit slow, and I wished there were a few more brews on tap, but honestly, the cozy vibe made up for it all!

I loved how my room had this amazing rainfall shower that almost felt like a spa, and the kettle with fun condiments was a nice touch for my morning coffee! The hotel had great relaxation spots with a cozy lounge and a lovely outdoor deck. Just a heads up, the mirror was a bit high in the bathroom, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all! 😊

Comfortable king room, excellent location, with a fantastic shower that provided great pressure during my stay and a friendly staff that offered helpful information about nearby attractions.
Found nothing wrong.

The experience was marred by severe shortcomings. my double room lacked windows and was uncomfortably hot, exacerbated by mold in the bathroom. a mix-up allowed a stranger to enter my father’s room, raising significant safety concerns. When a leech was found on a towel, the dismissive reaction from staff left much to be desired, highlighting inadequate service and care.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to everything! 😍 the bathroom could use more shelves—it was a bit cramped. a lovely stay.

The hotel had a modern feel inside, despite looking a bit unassuming from the outside. The staff were friendly, taking care of my bags before check-in and after checkout, which made things easy. My room was cozy. not huge but just right for a short stay, though the bathroom mirror was positioned too high. Pressure in the shower was fantastic, a definite highlight. I didn't expect much of a view, given the city center location, but the access to nearby attractions was a big plus. Breakfast options were decent, but the Eggs Benedict I ordered lacked enough Hollandaise. Also noticed some cleanliness issues, particularly in the shower area. The noise from the alley was bothersome at night due to partying. Still, the hotel had a good overall vibe, and I would consider coming back.
